**About us**

We are a warm, respectful and fun family looking for an exceptional nanny to care for our happy, engaging one-year-old daughter as she grows through to preschool age. She truly is a dream to be with (honestly!). We also have two very loved dogs who are part of family life.

We’re based in Belgravia until mid-July before moving back to our spacious country home in Marlow. This is a live-in role, although live-out could be considered for the right candidate (car or clean licence essential). We are very hands-on parents and work closely with our nanny as a team, creating a calm, happy and well-run home while also embracing travel and new experiences.

**The role**

This is a key role in our daughter’s early years. We’re looking for someone experienced, proactive and genuinely passionate about toddler development, ideally with a Montessori or child-led approach. She adores sensory classes.

This stage is all about energy, engagement and development. You will confidently support milestones such as walking, early language and social development, while creating a varied, stimulating and fun daily routine. This includes reading, talking, singing, sensory and creative play, and getting out to classes, parks and activities. We also attend some of these classes and think they are fantastic.

You will be confident with toddler nutrition and meal preparation, including transitions such as moving away from bottles. You’ll manage routines (including naps), support early behaviour with patience and consistency, and keep us updated on her development and day-to-day progress.

A strong awareness of safety is essential as mobility increases, along with paediatric first aid. We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, active and genuinely enjoys this brilliant, busy stage — someone who wants to be part of it, not just oversee it.

**Experience**

The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years’ nanny experience with a strong focus on toddlers, alongside a relevant childcare qualification. A calm, confident and organised approach is key.

A confident driver is required (car provided), and you must be comfortable around dogs. We are looking for someone who values consistency and is seeking a long-term role — not someone who hops between positions, but someone who wants to grow with us.

**Travel**

We travel throughout the year and would love someone who enjoys both sun and snow holidays. Our holiday home in Megève (France) is a favourite for skiing, hiking and exploring. All travel is planned in advance, fully covered, and well structured.

**Hours and holiday**

The role is 45 hours per week across five days. A rota is provided two weeks in advance, with hours falling between 7:30am and 10:30pm depending on the day. This is structured (9 hours per day), alongside one sleepover per week (she sleeps through).

Two days off are provided each week, with an aim for 1–2 full weekends off per month where possible. We are very fair and balanced with hours and ensure time off is managed thoughtfully.

Additional hours, if agreed in advance, are paid as overtime or given as time off in lieu.

**Accommodation**

A lovely private en-suite double room is provided in our Marlow home, London home and Megève chalet.

**Package**

20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and a discretionary annual bonus.
