Kitchen Porter
Chessington World of Adventures Resort is recruiting Kitchen Porters to join our Hotel Operations team.
Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment? Are you interested in starting a career in catering or becoming a Chef but need to build your kitchen skills first? This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fun and dynamic hospitality setting.
This is a seasonal, variable-hours contract, with both part-time and full-time opportunities available. You'll be based in one of our hotel restaurants, working alongside a talented and supportive team of chefs.
The Role
As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in supporting our chefs and kitchen team to deliver high-quality food for our hotel guests. This position is an excellent entry point into the catering and hospitality industry, with genuine opportunities for development and progression for those who demonstrate passion and commitment.
Previous kitchen experience is welcomed, but not essential - we are equally happy to hear from candidates who are new to the industry and keen to learn. Flexible shift patterns are available to support a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting chefs and kitchen teams with food preparation and kitchen set up before service
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and food hygiene
- Assisting with deliveries and ensuring stock is stored correctly and safely
- Working in the pot wash area efficiently to support operational needs
- Working collaboratively as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
