Copy of Duty Manager - Hotel, Specialty Coffee & Natural...
Life at Kabannas
Situated just steps from London St Pancras, our new 240-key Kabannas is designed for people who want more than just a room. We create spaces where people connect, stories unfold and community thrives. Hospitality here is human: warm, welcoming, playful and proudly real.
Our Food & Beverage space is the heart of Kabannas London - by day, we pour specialty coffee; by night, natural wines, paired with a small, carefully curated food menu. Think relaxed, social moments in the city, brought to life with weekly programming: live music, talks and intimate events where travellers, locals and teammates come together, connect and make something special.
We create places where you can be yourself, enjoy coming to work and feel part of something bigger than just a job.
As our journey begins, we're looking for a Hotel, Specialty Coffee & Natural Wine Duty Manager to start on the 28th of September - someone who loves leading a shift, setting the pace and making sure every guest feels the Kabannas energy.
Your Part in the Kabannas Story
As our Hotel, Specialty Coffee & Natural Wine Duty Manager, you’ll be right at the heart of the action - leading your team on shift, setting the tone and making sure every guest feels that Kabannas energy from the moment they walk in. You’ll keep the day-to-day running smoothly, balancing great service with strong organisation behind the scenes.
Key responsibilities:
· Lead Front of House operations during your shift, ensuring smooth and consistent service
· Be the go-to for guest feedback, resolving issues with warmth and professionalism
· Champion brand standards, health & safety and ways of working
· Manage bar stock, ordering and organisation
· Work closely with other departments for a seamless guest experience
Who You Are
You’re all about people - creating great moments, bringing energy to the room and making everyone feel at home. You take real ownership of your work, bring fresh ideas to the table and love getting stuck into projects that help Kabannas grow.
Ideally, you:
· Have experience leading a team in a busy front-of-house environment
· Stay cool, organised and solution-focused when things get hectic
· Have a passion for (or experience in) specialty coffee or natural wine
· Lead by example and bring out the best in the people around
· Handle guest feedback with confidence, empathy and a smile
· Care deeply about people and delivering warm, personal service
We’re not looking for the perfect CVs, but for great humans .
Why Kabannas?
· A team-first culture and some really good people around you
· Real development and career growth - we're building something here, and we want you to grow with it
· Rewards, recognition and experiences that go beyond the day-to-day
· Free and discounted stays, plus generous food & drink discounts, for you, your friends and your family (fair warning: you're about to become very popular)
· Your birthday off, on us
· Paid volunteering, enhanced family leave, health & life cover
Be part of a fast-growing, modern hospitality brand doing things differently - where you can bring your energy, style and individuality every day.
