Live-in Nanny-Housekeeper, Job ID J209B5

A lovely family is seeking a warm, proactive, and highly experienced Nanny Housekeeper to join their household. The Nanny Housekeeper will provide expert care during the infant’s early months, with duties eventually balancing out to include more general housekeeping and family cooking as the child becomes more independent. The role involves a mix of sole charge during working hours and shared care when the parents are home. The family is expecting their baby in September, so the position will start then at the earliest. However, there is flexibility for a later start date to find the right fit for the household. A valid first-aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 45-50 hours per week

Accommodation: Private separate annex

Duties include:

• Assisting with nappy changes and preparing bottles for infants.
• Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children.
• Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park.
• Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children.
• Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth.
• Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area.
• Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens.
• Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding.
• Making beds and replacing linens as needed.
• Cleaning and organising dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher.

This lovely family based in Southwark is looking for a Live-in Nanny-Housekeeper to start on 1 September 2026.
