Freelance Fire Door Supervisor

We are a specialist Passive Fire Protection contractor seeking an experienced Freelance Site Supervisor to support our team across multiple residential projects. The successful candidate will oversee fire door installation and remediation works, ensuring high-quality delivery, compliance, and safety on site.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily site activities related to fire door installation, upgrades, and remedial works.

Ensure compliance with Passive Fire Protection standards and building regulations.

Oversee subcontractors and trades on site, ensuring work is completed safely and to specification.

Conduct daily site briefings, toolbox talks, and maintain documentation.

Liaise with clients, residents, and internal teams to maintain smooth project progress.

Monitor quality control and sign off completed works.

Requirements (Essential)

Valid Driving Licence

CSCS card

SSSTS or SMSTS

First Aid certification

Proven experience supervising fire door or Passive Fire Protection works

Strong understanding of health & safety

Preferable

Asbestos Awareness certificate

Experience in the residential sector

Own vehicle (highly advantageous)

Contract Details

Start: Immediate

Day Rate: £230–£240

Contract Length: Until end of January/February

Potential for Permanent Employment for the right candidate
