The Role – Behaviour Mentor We are currently looking for an experienced Behaviour Mentor who has a nurturing approach to join a thriving SEMH School based in Borough. For this Behaviour Mentor role you will be supporting the classroom teacher as well as providing 1:1 intervention with students that have SEMH, ASD and Behavioural needs. To be a successful Behaviour Mentor you will have at least 1 years experience working within a school setting and will see the best in every child. The School – Behaviour Mentor This is a small, nurturing special needs primary school for children with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, many of whom have experienced adverse childhood experiences and difficulties in mainstream education. With small class sizes, therapeutic support, and creative, personalised teaching, the school fosters trust, self-esteem, and a renewed love of learning. It offers a broad and challenging curriculum while addressing speech, language, and communication needs through targeted interventions, helping children make meaningful progress both academically and emotionally.
