Jewellery Production Intern
Founded by Eugenie Niarchos in 2013, Venyx World fine jewellery is characterised by a dynamic use of texture, colour and dimension. Each piece is part of a story, told through the lens of a collector’s archive and passed down from this generation to the next.
Relaying a dialogue between linked influences—nostalgia and memory, art and history, symbolism and mythology, and the structure and pattern found in nature—these are modern heirlooms. Our fine jewellery is made in the image of the Venyx World, representing life and the universe.
We are looking for an organised, motivated individual to join our team as an intern, assisting the Production Manager in our Mayfair office.
Liaising directly with the Production Manager, the Intern will contribute to the daily running of a busy fine jewellery company, and keep track of specific projects, helping deliver a perfect product to our clients.
Responsibilities of the Production Intern:
- Essential trips to Hatton Garden workshops
- Helping source gemstones
- Quality control; checking all finished pieces of jewellery
- Support to ensure we maintain production schedules
- Communicating regular updates to all relevant team members
- Administration support of the stock inventory
- Logistics support
What Venyx World is looking for:
- A detailed oriented person who is good at working within a team as well as being able to take initiative for your own work
- Attentive with excellent communication skills
- Impeccable organisational skills
- A passion for fine jewellery
What you'll get:
- A contracted role with a 1-month trial period
- Salary of £12.71 per hour @ 7.5 hours a day with one hour unpaid lunch break
- This role is: 3-4 days per week - Monday - Friday 9.30 am to 6 pm (discussed on successful application)
- Accrued holidays and pension
- Working in a dynamic environment with scope to gain significant knowledge in fine jewellery production and the industry in London
- Working alongside a friendly, small team
