This is a brand-new role as a Compliance Manager, offering you the chance to make a real impact from day one and grow alongside the company as we continue our journey of rapid development. You will assist in keeping OnCue Compliant in all aspects of its operations.

The Job

The Compliance Manager for OnCue would be responsible for overseeing all aspects of compliance within OnCue, ensuring that OnCue’s service adhere to Care Quality Commission and Health & Safety regulations, policies, and procedures. This includes monitoring performance metrics, conducting audits, investigating incidents, and implementing corrective actions. The Compliance Manager will also work with the Head of Compliance to develop and implement new compliance initiatives to continuously improve the quality and safety of OnCue’s patient transport services.

  • Conduct regular audits of individual department operations to identify and address any compliance gaps.
  • Input into serious incidents, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date on all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures and ensure that staff are aware of their compliance obligations.
  • Work with other departments within the organisation to ensure that compliance is integrated into all aspects of OnCue’s operations.
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports to senior management.

    Effective risk assessment and subsequent risk management.

  • Assessing problems to identify causes, gathering, and processing relevant information to generate possible solutions.

  • Set priorities, develop audit schedules, monitoring progress towards goals using track details, data, information, and activities.Strong understanding of relevant regulations, policies, and procedures for both the Care Quality Commission and ISO 9001:2015 management system processes

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software programs.

Additional skills and knowledge

  • Understanding of the difficulties involved in medical transport and the SLA's.

    Organised and methodical thinker.

  • This is a demanding and challenging role, but it is also a rewarding one. The Compliance Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring that the Non Emergency Ambulance Service is able to operate safely, efficiently and that patients receive the highest quality of care.

  • Firm conviction in your ideas and the willingness to go the extra mile to deliver on them.

  • Experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in non-emergency patient transport, is a plus.

Essential criteria

  • Full Clean DVLA driving licence - Drives cars - manual and automatic.
  • Good self-discipline, can work proactively without being constantly supervised
  • Good work ethic – hardworking, punctual and reliable
  • An eye for detail and the ability to use their own initiative
  • Clear verbal communication skills
