RFP Writer (Contract)

A global investment firm is seeking an RFP Writer to join its London office. Reporting to the team Director, this role is pivotal to driving business development through the delivery of high-quality, timely RFP and DDQ responses across multiple jurisdictions in EMEA and APAC.
As the firm continues to grow internationally, this position will support Sales Directors throughout the end-to-end RFP and due diligence process, contributing directly to new business success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, draft, and deliver responses to RFPs, DDQs, and other client requests, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and a strong client-focused narrative
- Partner with regional operations leadership and Sales Directors to oversee RFPs from inception to submission, including planning, strategy, drafting, and approvals
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (investment, research, legal, compliance, operations) to gather and synthesise content
- Leverage strong knowledge of private markets to articulate investment strategies and capabilities clearly and persuasively
- Maintain and enhance RFP and DDQ processes, including content databases, workflow tools, and best practices
- Conduct win/loss analysis and incorporate client feedback to improve future outcomes
Candidate Profile:
- Experience with institutional RFP and DDQ processes within investment management is essential
- Strong understanding of asset classes and financial markets, ideally including private markets
- Excellent written communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Experience with AI-enabled RFP tools is advantageous
This role is an initial 6 month contract with potential for a longer-term opportunity. The firm offers a hybrid working environment.
