Schools Liaison Officer
What skills and experience we're looking for
Education and Qualifications Educated to degree level or equivalent Qualifications in English and maths equivalent to GCSE Grade 4/C/Level 2 Recognised marketing qualification Full driving licence Knowledge and Skills Strong interpersonal skills at all levels including the ability to engage with young people, parents, teachers, advisers as well as curriculum and support colleagues within the college Excellent project management and organisation skills, able to exercise initiative and plan work independently, in order to fully complete tasks Excellent verbal and written communications skills Knowledge of the creative industries and careers pathways Experience Experience working within 13-19 education, further education or higher education Experience in devising and delivering workshops and careers activities for young people, working with young people in a classroom environment; a confident and able public speaker Able to think strategically, plan and implement initiatives collaboratively Ability to analyse data, to write reports, correspondence and other documentation Experience with CRM systems such as SalesforceCommitment Ability to manage a complex and varied workload, to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, and to work on own initiative Able to drive personal continuous improvement Able to work collaboratively as part of a team, positively challenge and reflect, to deliver shared outputs Have high professional standards and personal integrity, with high expectations of self and others What the school offers its staff • Flexible Fridays, half day, to provide work-life balance • Employeeassistanceprogramme • Research-based professional development • Supportive, caring and developmentalenvironment with full staff wellbeing programme • Excellent career development opportunitiesandperformance recognition • Staffsocialevents • Gymfacilities for staff use • Cycletoworkscheme Commitment to safeguarding Our organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
