About the Role

Key Responsibilities
Provide efficient day-to-day administrative support to the school
Maintain accurate pupil, staff, and administrative records
Respond to telephone calls, emails, and general enquiries
Prepare letters, reports, documents, and correspondence
Assist with meetings, appointments, and school events
Update school databases and management information systems
Communicate professionally with parents, carers, staff, and external agencies
Support attendance, admissions, and pupil administration where required
Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information

Essential Requirements
Previous experience in an administrative, office, or customer-facing role
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to handle confidential information professionally
A friendly, proactive, and flexible approach to work
Desirable
Previous experience working within a school or educational environment
Knowledge of SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom, or similar systems
Understanding of safeguarding and data protection requirements
Experience dealing with parents, pupils, and external agencies
