About the Role - SEN Teaching Assistant

• Provide 1:1 support as an SEN Teaching Assistant to a child in Year 1 with specific learning needs
• Help the pupil access the curriculum and maintain engagement in class activities
• Collaborate closely with class teachers and SENCO to follow tailored education plans
• Monitor and record progress, behaviour, and development as part of the wider SEN provision
• Full-time, term-time position until the end of the academic year

Ideal Candidate - SEN Teaching Assistant

• Prior experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant , Teaching Assistant, or Learning Support Assistant
• Confident supporting pupils with additional needs, including speech, language, or behavioural difficulties
• Passionate, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children's development
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
