The team you’ll work with:
Our Commercial Office (CCO) spans a number of areas including Marketing, Product Management, Product Sales & Implementation, Proposition & Pricing, Client Experience and Innovation Global Markets Teams. Collectively their role is to ensure we deliver the right products to our clients at the right time and deliver communications with our customers in a way that is meaningful to them.
The value you’ll add:
As part of HSBC Innovation Banking UK's Sales Growth Enablement (“SGE”) team, you’ll help to drive sustainable revenue growth by integrating business intelligence and market insights with business planning and execution.
Using your deep expertise in the innovation ecosystem to analyse market trends, client needs and revenue drivers, you will apply your knowledge of sales growth strategies to create effective revenue initiatives and actively identify s new revenue opportunities.
The Role
As a Senior Associate in Sales Growth Enablement, you will contribute to shaping strategic direction, demonstrating a proven ability to add value to the business. This involves cross-team collaboration, leveraging Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Analytical teams, alongside conducting independent research to uncover insights that optimise sales strategy. The Senior Associate will assist senior team members in transforming the strategy into a practical plan.
What you can expect to be doing:
- Engaging regularly with stakeholders including front line Sales functions, Relationship Managers and Product teams within HSBC Innovation Banking UK
- Analysing business trends and market intelligence to help shape sales strategy and define best practices
- Provide sales intelligence to help deliver data driven decision making across the business
- Increase efficiency through technology automation and encourage adoption by providing training to frontline teams
- Support the delivery of large-scale technology projects by providing subject matter expertise and strategic insights
- Develop and maintain strong relationships across multiple teams, enhancing collaboration by integrating diverse perspectives into projects and decision-making processes
- Represent HSBC Innovation Banking at Industry events, to share best practice insights on technology advancements
Requirements:
- Experienced in analysing large data sets to derive and present meaningful insights.
- Previous experience of, or a desire to work in client facing environments
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments, managing multiple projects and cross functional stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and other tools such as CRM Dynamics, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, Qlik, PitchBook, Beauhurst, CapIQ, etc.
- An understanding of, or interest in the innovation economy.
Where you’ll be based:
Our home office in Finsbury Square, London. We offer hybrid working to our employees, so you can flex between home and the office. With the requirement for now, to be based in the office two days per week.
