Account Executive
A leading London Market broker is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a driven insurance professional with 5+ years’ experience across the London and Lloyd’s markets, with strong technical knowledge of commercial lines including Liability, Accident & Health, Marine, and Kidnap & Ransom.
You will manage a portfolio of commercial clients, deliver exceptional service, and support placement activities across a diverse mix of risks.
Key Responsibilities:Manage and develop a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring high service standards and strong retention.
Handle all client servicing, renewals, and mid-term adjustments with accuracy and efficiency.
Work closely with brokers and underwriters in the London and Lloyd’s markets to secure competitive terms.
Prepare and present market submissions, renewal strategies, and client reports.
Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across Liability, A&H, Marine, and K&R lines.
Maintain strong working relationships with market contacts, staying current with market trends and underwriting appetite.
Ensure compliance with internal processes, FCA regulations, and industry standards.
Minimum 5 years’ experience within the London and Lloyd’s insurance markets.
Solid technical knowledge of Commercial Combined, Liability, A&H, Marine, and Kidnap & Ransom insurance.
Proven track record in client management and retention.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Cert CII/Dip CII desirable (or working towards).
