The school is seeking a passionate and skilled Head of Humanities (Geography Specialist) to lead a high-achieving Humanities department and support students in reaching their full potential.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Head of Humanities to make a real impact on young people's lives while working in a supportive and dynamic school environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead, manage and inspire the Humanities department as Head of Humanities .

Deliver outstanding lessons in Geography, and support the teaching of other Humanities subjects.

Monitor, track and support student progress across the department.

Plan, develop and implement innovative schemes of work that raise achievement.

Provide professional development opportunities for team members.

Contribute to whole-school improvement as part of the leadership of your subject area.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience as a Head of Humanities or in a similar leadership role.

Strong subject knowledge in Geography, with the ability to teach up to A-Level.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

A passion for Humanities education and the ability to motivate students of all abilities.

A commitment to continuous improvement and raising standards.
