Cover Supervisor
Smart Teachers are seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across a range of well-established secondary schools in London Borough of Redbridge.
About the role
Supervise whole classes during teacher absence
Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials across a range of subjects
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Ensure students remain on task and complete assigned work
Provide clear feedback to teaching staff following lessons
About the school
We work closely with a diverse network of mainstream secondary schools and academies across Redbridge. Schools offer supportive senior leadership teams, clear behaviour systems, and excellent transport links via the Central Line and Elizabeth Line.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Cover Supervisor you will:
- Experience working with young people (school-based experience desirable)
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Confident leading a classroom independently
- Flexible and adaptable approach
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Suitable school based experience
