Job Title: Early Years Practitioner / Early Years Educator Location: Islington, North London Start Date: November 2025 Pay: £110-£120 per day (PAYE) Hours: Shift patterns available - 8:30am-4:30pm / 9:00am-5:00pm / 10:00am-6:00pm Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday (term time only)

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join a warm, supportive and well-established nursery team in Islington. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a nurturing Early Years environment that prioritises high-quality care, child-centred learning and the holistic development of every child.

You will be joining a team that values creativity, curiosity, and play-based learning. The ideal candidate will bring positive energy, strong Early Years knowledge, and a commitment to ensuring children feel safe, engaged, and excited to learn.

We are looking for someone who:

Holds a CACHE Level 3 Early Years qualification (or higher).

Has secure experience working with children aged 6 months to 4 years within a nursery or EYFS setting.

Demonstrates strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and can plan imaginative, stimulating and developmentally appropriate activities.

Is confident supporting children's personal, social and emotional development through positive relationships and a nurturing approach.

Can carry out accurate observations, assessments and maintain high-quality record-keeping.

Works effectively as part of a team and contributes to a warm, inclusive and inspiring Early Years environment.

Ideally holds Paediatric First Aid (desirable, not essential).
