We are now looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist - Neuro to join our multidisciplinary team and contribute to our vital work.

Assistant Psychologist - Tasks and Responsibilities

In this role, you will support the delivery of high-quality neuropsychological care and contribute to both clinical and research activities. You will work closely with senior psychologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive the best possible care. The role will involve a combination of direct patient interaction, administrative responsibilities, and collaborative teamwork. Your contribution will make a meaningful difference to the lives of patients and their families.

You will assist in administering and scoring psychological and cognitive assessments under supervision.
You will support the development and implementation of rehabilitation programmes tailored to patient needs.
You will help collect, analyse, and present clinical data for case discussions and service evaluations.
You will maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in line with professional standards.
You will take part in research, audits, and projects that improve service delivery and patient outcomes.

Assistant Psychologist - Required Skills and Knowledge

To succeed in this role, you will bring both academic understanding and practical skills, along with a genuine interest in neuropsychology. You demonstrate knowledge of neuropsychological principles and cognitive assessments.
You are confident in administering and scoring standardised psychological tests.
You understand neurological conditions such as brain injury, dementia, and stroke.
You have excellent communication skills and can engage effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
You are highly organised and able to manage your time well in a busy clinical environment.
