The Opportunity
A well-established and growing insurance organisation is seeking a Senior Claims Professional to manage complex international property claims within the London Market. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of Lloyd’s and company markets, ideally with prior broking experience. This position also offers the chance to mentor junior colleagues and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing claims environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a central point of contact for clients and insurers, ensuring claims are handled efficiently and accurately.
  • Manage complex, international property claims from notification through to resolution.
  • Negotiate with underwriters and markets to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • Prepare and present clear, detailed claims documentation.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records across internal systems.
  • Support internal projects and deliver management information to senior stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong working relationships across markets and internal teams.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience managing property claims within the London Market.
  • Strong knowledge of Lloyd’s and company market operations.
  • Understanding of delegated authority contracts and claims regulations.
  • Broking experience is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive under pressure.
  • Collaborative, professional, and client-oriented.
