ECT of RE – Outstanding Induction for Multi-Faith & Ethics Teaching – Newham
A progressive secondary school in Newham is seeking an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Religious Education to join their dynamic Humanities faculty from January 2026.
- ECT of RE required from January 2026.
- Newham-based school located in a diverse inner-city area (Inner London salary).
- Seeking an enthusiastic ECT passionate about teaching diverse world religions and philosophical ethics .
You will teach Religious Education across KS3-KS5. The role includes focusing on developing rigorous academic skills within the humanities, supported by a clear, standardized curriculum and an outstanding ECT mentorship programme.
Experience and Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS ) or expected QTS by January 2026.
- Relevant degree in Theology, Philosophy, or RE.
- Strong interest in teaching diverse world religions and ethical debates.
- Commitment to completing the ECT Induction with enthusiasm and dedication.
