KS1 Teacher — Good School — Wimbledon — January 2026 start

The appointed KS1 Teacher will be part of a creative KS1 phase, will attend pre-term planning ahead of January 2026 , and will be fully teaching from January 2026 as a Full-Time KS1 Teacher .

As the KS1 Teacher , you will lead daily phonics, guided reading and early mathematics, and you will design thematic sequences that cultivate curiosity and resilience. The KS1 Teacher will be expected to use assessment intelligently to plan targeted interventions, and to work closely with teaching assistants and parents to secure progress from January 2026 onwards.
What the KS1 Teacher will do day-to-day: the KS1 Teacher will plan and deliver systematic phonics and daily reading sessions, teach engaging writing lessons, run focused number activities and lead small-group interventions. The KS1 Teacher will contribute to enrichment activities such as clubs and trips, and will take part in phase moderation and staff development meetings that begin before January 2026 and continue after January 2026 .
