Sales Manager

The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Sales Manager to help us shape the future of dynamic audio advertising. This is a commercial role with real influence: you’ll take ownership of agency relationships, drive revenue growth and position AMA as the trusted partner for personalised audio campaigns.
You’ll bring credibility with agencies, a strong background in digital media sales and a consultative approach that helps clients see how audio can fit seamlessly into their wider media strategies. It’s a chance to make an impact in a growing business while working with innovative technology and major global brands.
Key Relationships
Agencies: Media agency groups, independents and programmatic teams. Contacts at Wavemaker, IPG and Havas would be beneficial but not essential.
Publishers: We need to leverage relationships across the audio landscape and collaborate with them to develop their dynamic strategy.
What You’ll Be Doing
Take responsibility for hitting and exceeding revenue targets, developing both new and repeat business.
Use existing agency and client contacts to open doors, influence decision makers and secure meaningful partnerships.
Lead client conversations with a consultative approach, linking AMA’s solutions to agency and brand objectives.
Work closely with leadership to shape go-to-market strategy, sharing market insights that influence positioning and product direction.
Partner with strategy, planning, digital, AV and programmatic teams within agencies to deliver integrated solutions.
Oversee campaign execution with internal teams, ensuring delivery is smooth, optimised and measurable.
Act as an advocate for audio and dynamic creative, building understanding and enthusiasm among clients and agencies.
Support colleagues by sharing expertise and mentoring, contributing to AMA’s collaborative and growth-minded culture.
Who You Are
Brings 3 years of experience in digital media, ad tech or publisher sales, with a strong grasp of programmatic and ideally some knowledge of audio.
Has well-established, trusted relationships with senior figures in media agencies and holding groups.
A proven record of meeting and beating sales targets, with an ability to build lasting partnerships.
Takes a consultative approach to conversations, linking solutions to bigger-picture media and creative strategies.
Comfortable working with data and insights, turning numbers into recommendations and spotting shifts in the market.
Respected as a credible partner who can mentor others and represent AMA with authority.
Enjoys working in a fast-growing environment where initiative, curiosity and collaboration make a real difference.
