Our Client is looking for a Religious Studies ECT to work within a caring and forward-looking mixed secondary school in Enfield. The successful RS ECT will teach KS3 & KS4 and receive thorough mentoring and induction support.
School Information
This 11–18 school educates around 1,250 students and continues to achieve solid academic results, with 93% achieving grades 9–4 in English and Maths. The RS department encourages philosophical debate, empathy, and independent thought through engaging classroom discussions and project work.
ECTs receive one-to-one mentoring, access to professional learning communities, and opportunities to observe experienced colleagues. The school promotes a culture of reflection and growth, ensuring new teachers feel confident, valued, and supported.
Teachers describe the atmosphere as calm, respectful, and well led. Staff wellbeing and development are key priorities, and leadership maintains an open-door policy for new teachers.
