Junior Sales Associate
Role Overview:
As a Junior Sales Associate at Needle & Thread, you will represent the brand on the shop floor, delivering a high standard of customer service while supporting the achievement of sales targets. With a genuine enthusiasm for fashion, a keen eye for detail, and a personable approach, you will help create a memorable and engaging in-store experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Experience
- Deliver attentive and personalised service by identifying and responding to each client’s needs in line with standards expected at a Flagship Boutique.
- Build lasting relationships with customers through thoughtful styling advice and follow-up communication.
Sales performance
- Support the team in achieving individual and store sales goals.
- Contribute to sales by introducing customers to new collections and sharing the story behind the brand.
Brand Representation
- Act as an ambassador for Needle & Thread, reflecting the brand’s aesthetic and values. Maintain a strong understanding of collections, fabrics, and fit to confidently assist customers.
Store Operations
- Help maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing sales floor.
- Occasionally assist with deliveries, stock replenishment, and general stockroom organisation.
- Occasionally support inventory control and loss prevention procedures.
Team Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a smooth and enjoyable customer journey.
- Take part in team briefings, product training, and feedback sessions.
Experience
- Previous retail or customer-facing experience is advantageous.
- A genuine interest in fashion and retail and awareness of current trends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong interest in brand is also preferred.
- Must be fully flexible 7 days a week including weekends for varying shifts.
