Behaviour Mentor

We are now recruiting for an experienced and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to join an SEMH secondary school in Enfield. This school supports young people who face significant behavioural and emotional challenges due to Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, providing them with a structured, understanding, and positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
· Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and behavioural challenges.
· Implement and reinforce behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and structured learning environment.
· De-escalate challenging behaviours calmly and effectively, helping students to regulate emotions and actions.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
· Previous experience in a behavioural support role, ideally within a PRU, SEND, or SEMH setting.
· Strong understanding and experience in behaviour management techniques, including de-escalation strategies.
· Relevant qualifications in education or behavioural support (Level 2 or 3 preferred).
· Training in Team Teach, MAPA, or other behaviour management programs is highly advantageous.
