Compliance & Regulatory Technologist

We're on the hunt for a Compliance & Regulatory Technologist to join our Technical team as the driving force behind our packaging accuracy and regulatory compliance. You'll make sure every product we ship is fully compliant and correctly labelled across the UK, EU, US and every other market we touch - protecting our brand while helping us grow with confidence.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver accurate and up-to-date food packaging data to fulfil business commitments and legal obligations.
Maintain QUID calculations and work closely with the finance team to ensure correct loading of BOMs (Bills of Materials).
Review artwork and packaging to ensure legal compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Develop and sign-off all product specifications in line with business requirements and quality standards.
Respond to and complete technical requests from other departments and customers in a timely and efficient manner.
Generate and validate barcodes for products and packaging materials.
Handle regulatory and export queries, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and export requirements in all markets Little Moons operates in
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the delivery of innovation into operations, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met.
Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices, and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.
Provide technical support and guidance to other teams as required, promoting a culture of quality and compliance across the organisation.

Provide support for supplier assurance & raw material approvals when required
Lead regulatory continuous improvement projects
Contribute to the Brighter Future Sustainability Strategy and company's linked OKRs.
Essential requirements:
Experience working in Food Regulatory, Technical and Artwork Management
Strong grasp of UK, EU and US food legislation, particularly around labelling, allergens and additives
Hands-on experience building and maintaining product specifications
Experience supporting export compliance and regulatory requirements
Strong judgement and the ability to apply regulatory knowledge in a practical commercial environment
Desirable Experience / Qualifications:
Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or a related discipline
Experience with Master Data Management (MDM)
Exposure to regulatory risk assessment
Demonstrated experience identifying and implementing process improvements
