Native Spanish-Speaking Nanny for 10-Year-Old Twins

We are looking for a warm, reliable and experienced native Spanish-speaking nanny to care for our 10-year-old twins for the next year, while our current nanny is on maternity leave.

The position is 25–30 hours per week and can be either live-in or live-out. There may also be an opportunity to job-share with our current nanny if she returns earlier than expected in the new year.

We are looking for someone who is confident, organised and genuinely enjoys working with older children. A nanny who can help the children maintain and develop their Spanish through everyday conversation would be particularly welcome.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collecting the children from school and taking them to after-school activities.
• Coordinating with the parents regarding all aspects of the children's needs, welfare, development, health and safety.
• Helping with homework and school projects.
• Speaking Spanish with the children and supporting their ongoing Spanish language development.
• Helping with meal preparation and occasional grocery shopping.
• Supporting the children in keeping their bedrooms and bathrooms clean, tidy and organised.
• Keeping track of clothing, including identifying items that need repair or replacement and those the children are growing out of.
• Keeping the kitchen, playroom and other areas used by the nanny and children clean, tidy and organised after use.

Requirements:

• Native Spanish speaker.
• Previous nanny or childcare experience, ideally with school-aged children.
• Warm, responsible and proactive personality.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with parents.
• Driving experience and a UK driving licence are strongly preferred. Candidates without a UK licence should be willing to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK and appropriate references.

Hours: 25–30 hours per week

Live-in or live-out: Both options available

For a live-in arrangement, a one-bedroom flat is available for single occupancy.

Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience, qualifications and whether the position is live-in or live-out.
