The Role – Graduate Learning Support Assistant
As a Graduate Learning Support Assistant , you will work closely with students and teaching staff to ensure all learners have access to high-quality education and personalised support. Your role will involve both academic and pastoral support, with a focus on making a positive, lasting impact on young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 , with a focus on core subjects such as English, Maths, Science, and Humanities.
- Deliver focused 1:1 and small group interventions to students needing academic or emotional support.
- Assist students in building confidence, maintaining focus, and reaching their full potential.
- Support teachers with lesson preparation, behaviour management , and classroom organisation.
- Promote a respectful, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Work closely with SEN, EAL, and pastoral teams to tailor support to individual needs.
Candidate Requirements – Graduate Learning Support Assistant
We’re looking for a motivated and responsible graduate who is:
- Educated to degree level with a 2:1 or above (Psychology, Education, English, or related subjects are especially welcomed).
- Genuinely passionate about education and helping young people succeed.
- Ideally experienced in working with young people – through mentoring, tutoring, coaching , or volunteering.
- A strong communicator with the ability to build effective relationships with both students and staff.
- Reliable, professional, and exceptionally punctual – with a commitment to being a consistent presence throughout the academic year.
- Available to work full-time from September 2025 to July 2026.
