Technical Business Analyst
We're looking for a highly motivated and skilled Technical Analyst to join our team, working with a leading FinTech client in London. This is a strategic role where you'll act as a vital bridge between business needs and technical delivery. You'll leverage your experience working with external clients to gather requirements, translate business goals into actionable insights, and ensure clear, consistent communication across stakeholders at all levels. Your ability to understand client priorities and align them with project outcomes will be key to driving success.
What You'll Do:
- You will serve as the primary liaison between our clients and the offshore development team. A core responsibility will be to effectively elicit business requirements from clients and translate them into clear, actionable technical specifications for our engineers.
- Take ownership of the project delivery lifecycle, managing development teams to ensure they deliver on client needs. You'll lead the methodology and approach, leading from the front defining what good looks like, and providing the technical guidance necessary for successful integration and implementation, and communicating progression updates to clients.
- Collaborate with a wide range of internal and external partners, including IT infrastructure and hosting teams. You'll need to influence and align internal teams on priorities to ensure project success.
- Maintain brilliant communication, providing regular, clear updates and key alerts to management. Your ability to distill complex information into concise reports will be critical.
- Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where the answers aren't always predefined. You'll need to be comfortable with ambiguity and have the confidence to make your mark by owning and leading the process from start to finish.
Requirements
- 4+ years in a Business Analysis, Technical Analyst role preferably within a technology-driven company, Fintech or InsurTech environment.
- You must be able to clearly explain these concepts to non-technical stakeholders and lead with technical confidence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to elicit requirements from external clients and navigate conversations with both technical engineers and senior executives.
- A desire to take ownership and lead, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive internal teams to deliver on priorities.
- An ability to adapt to the different needs and styles of various clients, as well as internal stakeholders / teams, and strength to maintain the direction of travel throughout.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
