Business Development Manager - Payments (London)
OTE: £100,000+ (Uncapped Commission)

We're looking for a top-performing Business Development Manager to take our London presence to the next level. This role is for someone who knows how to generate leads, close deals, and consistently exceed targets.

This is a full-time role, with flexibility to work from home and the expectation of being in our London office twice a week.

The ideal candidate will have a strong network, a track record of generating and closing leads, and a relentless drive to achieve and exceed targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and convert high-potential prospects across the payments and financial services ecosystem.
- Leverage your existing network to drive new client acquisition and revenue growth.
- Take full ownership of the sales cycle - from lead generation to deal closure.
- Consistently meet and exceed sales and revenue targets.
- Develop deep knowledge of client needs, providing tailored solutions in payments, FX, e-money, issuing, and acquiring.
- Build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer experience.
- Stay ahead of the curve by understanding the competitive landscape and emerging industry trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support product development and customer success.
Main Requirements & Skills
- 5+ years' proven business development / sales experience in financial services, ideally in payments, FX, e-money, card issuing, or acquiring.
- Demonstrated success in lead generation and closing deals.
- A strong existing network of decision-makers and high-value prospects.
- Target-driven with a strong commercial mindset and relentless focus on results.
- Confident, articulate communicator with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
- Proven ability to navigate international markets with cultural sensitivity and business insight.
- Proactive, resourceful self-starter with the drive to succeed independently and collaboratively.
- Strong understanding of the financial services landscape and regulatory environment.
- Customer-first mindset, with the ability to identify needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Knowledge of another European language would be an advantage.
