Social Media + Community Marketing Manager

Jobs In. Fitness
London

We’re partnering with a premium health and wellness business to find a highly organised, creative and action-oriented Social Media + Community Marketing Manager

This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced marketing team, focused on driving community engagement, studio traffic, customer loyalty and brand awareness through compelling social content, local activations, partnerships and events.

The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days look the same. You’ll be comfortable balancing planned campaigns with reactive opportunities, collaborating across multiple locations, and bringing fresh ideas to life quickly and effectively.

The Company:

Our client is an established and growing wellness brand with multiple studio locations across London, offering a premium customer experience focused on movement, recovery, and wellbeing.

With a strong community-led approach and an ambitious growth journey ahead, the business is investing heavily in organic marketing, customer engagement and innovative content strategies. The environment is collaborative, entrepreneurial and ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the action and making a visible impact.

The Role:

● Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (DoE)

● Working Hours: 40 hours p/w (minimum) - flexible across HQ, studio and home

● Reporting to: Head of Marketing

Your duties will encompass a wide range of disciplines and skills, including strategy development, analysis, strategy execution and content creation.

The Role...

Reporting into the Head of Marketing, this role will take ownership of local marketing initiatives and organic social media activity across multiple studio locations.

The position is heavily execution-focused, combining content creation, community engagement, partnerships, events, and studio support. Key responsibilities include:

Social Media + Content:

  • Own and manage the organic social media calendar across multiple platforms

  • Create engaging, on-brand content including photography, video, reels, and stories

  • Film and edit reactive social content using accessible tools such as CapCut and Canva

  • Develop audience-specific content aligned to wider marketing campaigns

  • Monitor performance metrics, produce weekly reporting, and identify optimisation opportunities

  • Support influencer and ambassador activity to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure messaging consistency across all channels

Community Marketing + Activations:

  • Plan and deliver local marketing activations across studio locations

  • Support studio teams with promotional activity, communications, and marketing materials

  • Build partnerships with relevant brands, fitness communities, and local organisations

  • Create events and community initiatives that drive engagement, retention, and first-time visits

  • Act as a key marketing contact for studio managers and frontline teams

Campaign + Brand Support:

  • Assist with the execution of wider marketing campaigns and promotions

  • Coordinate marketing collateral, studio signage, and printed materials

  • Support internal engagement initiatives and encourage team participation in content creation

  • Stay informed on wellness and fitness industry trends to identify new opportunities and ideas

This role will suit someone who enjoys being both strategic and hands-on - equally comfortable planning campaigns and filming content on-site.

The Person...

We’re looking for someone energetic, adaptable and highly organised, with a genuine passion for wellness, fitness or lifestyle brands.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience within marketing, social media, or community-focused roles

  • Experience working within health, wellness, fitness, hospitality, or lifestyle sectors

  • Strong understanding of organic social media and content creation

  • Confidence creating video-first content using mobile devices and editing tools

  • Experience managing multiple projects, stakeholders, and locations simultaneously

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work autonomously

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Confidence working within a fast-moving, collaborative environment

Additional experience with partnerships, events, or local marketing campaigns would be highly advantageous.
