Senior Casualty Broker
An opportunity for an experienced broker to manage and grow a portfolio of International Casualty business. The role involves placing risks into the London Market, developing broker relationships, and contributing to business growth initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of International Casualty risks, including presenting, broking, negotiating, and placing enquiries into Lloyd’s, company, and MGA markets via both in-person engagement and electronic platforms (e.g. PPL).
Build and maintain strong relationships with broker clients, including attending meetings, delivering presentations, understanding client needs, and identifying cross-selling and new business opportunities.
Develop new business through:
Existing broker networks
New retail broker relationships and geographic expansion
Industry events and market engagement
Personal and professional networks
Liaise with insurers to identify suitable markets and develop effective placement strategies.
Ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are met, with accurate and up-to-date record keeping across internal systems.
Participate in regular broking and team meetings, maintaining clear and effective communication with colleagues.
Support the training and development of junior team members where appropriate.
