Role Overview

An opportunity for an experienced broker to manage and grow a portfolio of International Casualty business. The role involves placing risks into the London Market, developing broker relationships, and contributing to business growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of International Casualty risks, including presenting, broking, negotiating, and placing enquiries into Lloyd’s, company, and MGA markets via both in-person engagement and electronic platforms (e.g. PPL).

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with broker clients, including attending meetings, delivering presentations, understanding client needs, and identifying cross-selling and new business opportunities.

  • Develop new business through:

    • Existing broker networks

    • New retail broker relationships and geographic expansion

    • Industry events and market engagement

    • Personal and professional networks

  • Liaise with insurers to identify suitable markets and develop effective placement strategies.

  • Ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are met, with accurate and up-to-date record keeping across internal systems.

  • Participate in regular broking and team meetings, maintaining clear and effective communication with colleagues.

  • Support the training and development of junior team members where appropriate.
