Caretaker - West London
A welcoming and community-focused secondary school in West London is seeking a hardworking, dependable Caretaker for an immediate start . This role is perfect for someone practical, organised and committed to helping maintain a safe and supportive school environment.
About the Role
You will support the day-to-day running of the school site by carrying out essential repairs, routine maintenance, and ensuring the building remains safe, clean and operational. Responsibilities include:
Unlocking and securing the premises each day
Completing minor repairs, DIY tasks and maintenance checks
Setting up rooms for assemblies, meetings and events
Monitoring cleaning standards and reporting issues
Responding to urgent issues such as leaks, breakages or safety concerns
Supporting contractors and ensuring compliance is met
Maintaining grounds, pathways and external areas

Experience Needed
Practical DIY or caretaking experience
