Creative Interior Designer in City of London

Job description

Looking for a supportive collaborative Design and Build firm? My small-mid sized design and build client in central London are looking for a creative lead/ designer to work on a variety of commercial and mixed-use projects. To be successful in this role you MUST feel comfortable and strong enough to lead and develop pitches (concept, development, presenting in front of the client…).

Responsibilities

• Leading and shaping concept design for diverse commercial projects, bringing ideas that inspire and connect with clients.
• Building clear and engaging design narratives through materials, mood boards, and spatial planning.
• Using Revit and AutoCAD to turn creative vision into well-coordinated design packages alongside technical teams.
• Designing Cat A, Cat B, and Cat A+ workplace environments, helping clients explore possibilities and make informed choices.
• Keeping the process open and collaborative - testing ideas, trying new approaches, and keeping the energy high.
• Joining workshops, client meetings, and reviews, ensuring creativity is balanced with buildability and budget.

Requirements

• Experience leading projects independently, ideally commercial workplace
• Strong Revit and AutoCAD skills, and the ability to move smoothly from concept to detailed design.
• A genuine passion for Design & Build and quick turn-arounds.
