Job Title: Lead Geography Teacher Location:Wandsworth - South West London Contract: Fixed-term (October 2025 – December 2025) with potential for permanent contract

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Lead Geography Teacher to join a dedicated team. This role is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator with a strong background in teaching Geography from KS3 through to KS5, with particular emphasis on KS5. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the schools Geography provision, supporting student progress, and contributing to the wider success of the Humanities department. This is an initial fixed-term contract from October 2025 to December 2025. For the right candidate, there is a strong possibility of a permanent position after 12 weeks. Key Responsibilities * Lead and deliver engaging, high-quality Geography lessons across KS3–KS5. * Take responsibility for the planning, assessment, and progress of students, particularly at KS5. * Support the development of curriculum materials and teaching strategies. * Provide leadership and guidance to colleagues within the subject area. * Contribute to departmental improvement and whole-school initiatives. Person Specification * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. * At least 2 years’ experience teaching Geography across KS3–KS5, with strong KS5 expertise. * Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding teaching and inspire a love of learning. * Strong organisational and leadership skills. * A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
