Head of Corporate

• Lead the Corporate team at a well-established Legal 500 firm

We’re looking for a Head of Corporate to join a leading law firm in London.

With movement at the top of the team, this is a rare opportunity to steady the ship and then take the department forward, building on the strong foundations already in place across the firm’s other commercial services teams.

This is a fantastic role for someone ambitious who wants to combine quality work with the chance to step into leadership and ultimately progress to the Board.

Who we’re looking for

• Corporate Solicitor with at least 5–8 years PQE
• Proven experience supervising others and leading on transactions
• Track record of business development and networking
• Varied corporate experience, ideally from a mid-sized firm
• Strong communication and client care skills
• Outgoing and approachable personality

What you’ll be doing

• Leading the corporate department, ensuring stability and growth
• Supervising and supporting the existing NQ solicitor within the team
• Handling your own caseload of corporate transactions
• Building relationships with existing clients and networks, including within the local tech community
• Driving business development and helping shape the department’s future strategy
• Playing an active role in the wider management team, with progression to the Board after 12 months

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: Up to £90,000 base, potentially £95,000 DOE
• Bonus: Profit share, typically c.10% of departmental profit over target (higher for those bringing a following)
• Hours: Flexible, with the ability to bank additional hours worked
