Immediate School Office Opportunities
We regularly have schools in Croydon getting in touch when they need immediately available administrative staff. This might be to cover a member of the team who is off sick, provide extra help during a particularly busy period or support the school office while a permanent appointment is being made.
We're looking to register experienced School Receptionists and General Administrators who are comfortable working on a flexible basis.
Assignments can be anything from a single day to several weeks or longer, so availability and flexibility are important.
What You'll Be Doing
Depending on the school, you could be responsible for:
Welcoming pupils, parents and visitors
Answering telephone calls and dealing with enquiries
Managing the school's reception area
General administration and data entry
Updating pupil and staff records
Supporting attendance and admissions administration
Managing emails, correspondence and filing
Providing general assistance to the wider school office
Essential Requirements
You must have previous experience working in a school and be confident operating in a busy school environment.
You will also need:
A clear DBS
DBS registered on the Update Service, or issued within the past 6 months
Good IT and administration skills
Excellent communication and organisation
A professional approach when dealing with pupils, parents and staff
Flexibility to work full-time and/or part-time
