ROLE OVERVIEW
The Account Manager plays a key role in the day-to-day management of client accounts, overseeing campaign execution, media relations and client communications. This role requires a proactive and highly organised individual with strong media contacts, creative PR thinking and excellent relationship management skills. The Account Manager will work closely with senior leadership while mentoring junior team members and ensuring client objectives are consistently achieved. ROLE DESCRIPTION
- Manage day-to-day activity across multiple fashion and lifestyle client accounts Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, media and influencers Develop and execute PR strategies, press outreach and campaign plans Lead proactive pitching to secure press coverage across print, digital and social platforms Draft press releases, media alerts, pitches and client communications Organise press days, launches, events and Fashion Week activity Coordinate influencer partnerships, gifting and VIP opportunities Monitor and analyse press coverage, preparing regular client reports Manage showroom activity and ensure product samples are efficiently organised and tracked Support new business proposals and agency presentations Identify cultural moments, trends and media opportunities relevant to clients Ensure clients are regularly updated on campaign progress and results Mentor and support Account Executives, Press Assistants and showroom staff Maintain strong awareness of industry trends, competitor activity and media landscape changes
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Management
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients on a daily basis Build trusted relationships and ensure high standards of client service Manage timelines, deliverables and campaign execution across accounts Confidently communicate campaign updates and results to clients
Media Relations
- Develop strong relationships with journalists, editors, stylists and influencers Secure high-quality media coverage and brand placements Proactively identify creative storytelling opportunities for clients Manage press requests, sample loans and media appointments efficiently
Campaign & Event Management
- Coordinate and execute PR events, launches and activations Support Fashion Week logistics, guest management and media coordination Ensure smooth delivery of all campaign elements from planning to reporting
Team Support & Development
- Support and mentor junior team members Delegate tasks effectively and ensure smooth team communication Contribute positively to team meetings and agency culture
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum 4–6 years’ experience in fashion, lifestyle or luxury PR Strong understanding of the media landscape and influencer marketing Excellent organisational and project management skills Strong writing and communication abilities Established media contacts across fashion, lifestyle and culture Confident managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving Positive, collaborative and adaptable attitude Passionate about culture and current trends
