Disney Character Events Work Placement
As an intern with the Disney Character Special Events team, you'll gain hands-on experience, supporting a diverse range of projects across Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), contributing to over 200 events each year.
You will work on a range of events including Corporate Social Responsibility experiences, product and content launches, internal cast celebrations and new media events, bringing our Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel character stories to life, executing world class brand standards.
You’ll build strong communication and organisational skills as you work alongside Disney Brand and Franchise teams, as well as multiple business areas across The Walt Disney Company and key strategic partners across EMEA. The fast-paced environment offers continuous learning, adaptability, and provide a phenomenal springboard for a career in Events.
This role will require you to be onsite in the office 4 days a week, with some required flexibility in terms of potential travel across Europe, variation in responsibilities and working hours, due to the demands of the role.
Eligibility:
- A second-year undergraduate student on a placement year course returning to study in Autumn 2027
- The right to work in the UK already in place
- Available to start working full-time from June 2026
- Interested in the area you are applying for, whether this is through your studies, experiences, extracurricular activities or a general interest
Profile:
- A strong interest in events management, whether this is through your degree, extra-curriculars or hobbies.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to connect with people at all levels in a professional and mature manner
- Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and undertake various administrative duties
- Strong Microsoft skills
