About the Role
As a Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant, you will become an integral part of a successful Maths department, working closely with experienced teachers to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential involvement at Key Stage 5.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering tailored 1:1 and small group support in Mathematics.
- Assisting in lesson planning, preparation, and in-class delivery.
- Running targeted intervention sessions to boost student attainment.
- Challenging and extending high-performing pupils.
- Supporting behaviour management and fostering a focused learning environment.
This role offers real responsibility and insight into the daily life of a teacher—far beyond simple observation.

- Hold a 2:1 or First-Class degree in Mathematics or a related subject .
