SENCo - High-Achieving Secondary Academy in Newham

Marchant Recruitment
Newham, Greater London

Start Date: September 2026

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Paid to scale + SEN Allowance

The Role

A high-achieving Secondary Academy in Newham is seeking a professional, strategically minded, and exceptionally organised Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) to take leadership of their vibrant inclusion and learning enhancement department. This role represents a premier opportunity to design and deliver high-impact inclusive educational provisions within a heavily resourced East London academy.

The successful candidate will take full operational responsibility for the school’s SEND pathways, monitoring intervention success tracks and ensuring that adaptive teaching frameworks are seamlessly embedded within all subject departments. You will also manage statutory documentation registers, coordinate clinical consultations with visiting speech and language specialists, and manage key data reporting systems for local authority compliance audits.
