SEN Teaching Assistant – Outstanding SEMH Secondary School | Bexley

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll work 1:1 and in small groups with students who may have faced school exclusion, trauma, or significant challenges at home.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Delivering 1:1 and small-group support both academically and emotionally
• Supporting students to manage triggers and classroom expectations
• Helping learners re-establish routines, confidence, and motivation
• Contributing to EHCP reviews and daily staff briefings
• Promoting a safe, consistent, nurturing learning environment

Ideal SEN TA For this Bexley School:
• A graduate or experienced TA with true emotional resilience
• Background in SEN, PRU, youth justice, or therapeutic work is a plus
• Able to offer firm kindness and clear boundaries
