Administrative & Research Intern (Paid) — London in City of London

Role overview
We are seeking an Administrative & Research Intern to support our investment and finance teams. This is a paid, fixed-term internship offering hands-on exposure to research, reporting and daily operations.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct market research and assist with due diligence on potential investments.
- Gather, analyse and summarise data for projects and reports.
- Provide administrative support (scheduling, document prep, file management).
- Maintain internal databases and help prepare presentations.
- Support portfolio monitoring and assist with report preparation.
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects and operational improvements.
Candidate profile
- Studying for or recently completed a degree in Business/Economics/Finance (or related).
- Strong organisation and multitasking skills; high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Clear written and verbal communication; proactive mindset.
Internship details
- Contract: Fixed-term internship, 3-6 months .
- Schedule: 20–30 hours/week (part-time) or 40 hours/week (full-time) — confirm availability in application.
- Compensation depends on the working hours, pro-rata holiday pay in line with UK law.
- Right to work: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK ; visa sponsorship not available .
- Start date: ASAP (flexible).
