Project Manager

London

Location: North West London
Sector: Major Infrastructure / Construction

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of major construction and structural packages on a complex infrastructure project.

This is a senior delivery role for someone with a strong background in structural steelwork, reinforced concrete and major construction, who is confident managing subcontractors, teams and multiple work fronts in a demanding project environment.

The Role

You'll take ownership of construction delivery from mobilisation through to completion, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, to programme and to the required quality.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead delivery of major structural and construction packages.

  • Manage structural steelwork, reinforced concrete and associated civil works.

  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Manage construction sequencing, programmes, interfaces and key milestones.

  • Oversee steel fabrication, delivery, erection and installation.

  • Manage reinforced concrete works including foundations, slabs, cores, formwork and concrete pours.

  • Review construction methodologies, temporary works and lifting proposals.

  • Monitor subcontractor performance, change, cost and delivery.

  • Identify and manage construction risks, constraints and interfaces.

  • Work closely with the commercial and project teams to maintain programme, cost, quality and safety.

  • Lead progress and coordination meetings with key stakeholders.

About You

You'll ideally have:

  • Significant experience as a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager on major construction or infrastructure projects.

  • Proven experience delivering large–scale structural packages.

  • Strong experience across structural steel and reinforced concrete.

  • Experience managing major subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing and temporary works.

  • A proven track record managing programme, safety, quality and cost.

  • Experience working on complex, high–value or live–site projects.

  • Strong leadership and stakeholder–management skills.

  • Relevant construction qualification/degree.

  • SMSTS and appropriate CSCS.

Experience in UK infrastructure, rail, stations or major urban development would be highly advantageous.

Why This Role?

A great opportunity to take a senior delivery position on a major infrastructure project, managing significant structural packages and working alongside experienced project and construction teams.
