What you’ll be doing

At Free Soul, performance-driven creative is fuel for growth. We’re looking for a Senior Performance Designer who lives and breathes paid media design; someone with a proven track record of creating thumb-stopping, high-converting assets across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and beyond.

This isn’t just a design execution role. You’ll bring expertise, confidence, and creative judgment to the table - helping us balance the art of design with the science of growth. You’ll be hands-on in designing bold, data-backed creative while also influencing the strategy, and shaping testing frameworks.

We need someone who thrives on the numbers, is obsessed with performance metrics, and knows how to optimise for results. If you’ve already specialised in performance-native design and want the opportunity to own the creative impact on CAC, this is your role.

Performance Creative Leadership

• Lead the design and optimisation of high-performing creative assets across paid social and display platforms.
• Push creative ideas that balance brand-building with conversion-driving effectiveness.
• Partner with our Performance Marketing team to ideate, test, and iterate campaigns at pace.
• Confidently hold creative direction conversations around brand vs growth priorities, guiding decisions with both data and design intuition.

Hands-On Design & Production

• Ensure assets are built with performance-first thinking: attention-grabbing, mobile-optimised, and audience-tailored.
• Own creative iteration loops, leveraging performance data to refine and evolve assets quickly.

Collaboration & Influence

• Work cross-functionally with Brand, Performance, and Community teams to ensure cohesion across growth campaigns.
• Share insights and recommendations grounded in performance data to shape future campaigns.
• Contribute to creative ideation sessions and inspire the team with bold, innovative approaches.

Future-Forward

• Stay ahead of trends in performance design, paid social creative, and digital storytelling.
• Help shape our testing frameworks and creative playbooks, ensuring Free Soul remains a leader in performance design.

What we’re looking for in you

• 4+ years experience in performance marketing design.
• Strong portfolio of high-performing paid ads (Meta/TikTok/YouTube/Google) that demonstrates measurable impact.
• Deep understanding of platform-specific best practices for performance design.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
• Confident interpreting data/metrics to inform creative decisions and testing roadmaps.
