Role summary - Year 4 Teacher
The Year 4 Teacher will plan coherent sequences in maths and English as the Year 4 Teacher, develop enquiry-led foundation topics that build cultural capital as the Year 4 Teacher, and lead interventions and enrichment as the Year 4 Teacher. The Year 4 Teacher will coordinate educational visits, run club activities and present pupil progress in termly reviews. The Year 4 Teacher will prepare planning before January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 as the Full-Time Year 4 Teacher.
Professional development - Year 4 Teacher
The school offers subject coaching, peer observation and leadership pathways so the Year 4 Teacher can progress to subject leadership. From induction in January 2026 the Year 4 Teacher will join CPD cycles and have opportunities to lead curriculum innovation across Key Stage 2.
Person specification - Year 4 Teacher
We require a Year 4 Teacher with QTS, secure KS2 practice and an innovative approach to teaching. The Year 4 Teacher should be available for pre-term planning prior to January 2026, induction in January 2026, and to teach from January 2026 as the Full-Time Year 4 Teacher.
