SEN Teaching Assistant

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Supply Bank SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience across a range of schools within the Trust and to make a real difference in supporting children’s learning and development. As part of our supply bank, you will be available to work on a flexible, as-needed basis, providing classroom support in the absence of permanent staff. Key Responsibilities: Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons. Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs. Assist with classroom activities, preparation of learning materials, and general administrative tasks. Encourage and motivate pupils to reach their full potential. Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment in line with the Trust’s values and policies. Person Specification: A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility and reliability to work across different schools when required. Previous classroom experience or a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent) is desirable but not essential. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people (all posts are subject to enhanced DBS checks). What We Offer: Flexible working to suit your availability.
