The Role

The Revenue Operations Lead will be a key player in driving efficiency and growth. You'll be instrumental in scaling revenue operations, redesigning and automating workflows across our key systems including PerchPeek’s proprietary platform ecosystem and our CRM (Hubspot). You'll also own sales pipeline reporting and revenue analytics, building robust dashboards that provide Go-to-Market leadership with the insights needed to improve forecasting and deal prioritisation. Additionally, you'll drive Go-to-Market enablement by integrating and automating tools and building scalable processes, such as the CPQ process.

This is a highly collaborative position where you'll proactively own relationships across departments and with executive leadership, including the CEO and COO, to ensure operational excellence and make a lasting impact on our growth story. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in revenue and/or sales operations, and a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable processes, using data to drive decisions, and is capable of owning multiple initiatives and demands simultaneously while maintaining energy and enthusiasm for raising the bar.

Responsibilities

Whilst every role in a startup has a degree of flexibility over time, here is what we see as the role’s main responsibilities:

Scaling Revenue & Finance Operations

  • Redesign workflows and integrations across our CRM (HubSpot), accounting platform and PerchPeek platforms for automation, accuracy, and scalability in partnership with Finance and Product teams
  • Lead re-design and integration of invoicing, pass-through cost management, and revenue recognition tools

Sales Pipeline Reporting & Revenue Analytics

  • Establish robust reporting dashboards in HubSpot and downstream systems, providing visibility into pipeline health, conversion rates and quota attainment
  • Partner with GTM leadership to deliver insights that improve forecasting accuracy and deal prioritisation
  • Build scalable frameworks for data hygiene and process compliance

Go-to-Market Enablement & Automations

  • Integrate the information flow between GTM team tooling (HubSpot, Fathom, Dock, etc.)
  • Develop automated mechanisms for lead management and pipeline optimisation
  • Own the implementation and future iterations of a scalable CPQ process that reduces manual work, increases consistency and governs discounting
  • Ensure CPQ integrates cleanly with CRM and downstream finance systems

Client Cost & Profitability Analysis

  • Support the GTM team with assessing client profitability on a per account basis, developing and providing regular reporting
  • Collaborate with GTM, Finance and Operations teams to develop and optimise pricing strategies and frameworks

Requirements

The type of person we think will be awesome at this will likely have the following range of qualities and experience:

  • 5-8 years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Finance Operations
  • Experience working with Finance and Product teams and their tooling
  • Fluency in HubSpot and its capabilities (additional CRM experience is always a plus!) including complex custom set ups and integration builds from scratch
  • Proven track record of implementing CPQ tools and building sales pipeline reporting in HubSpot
  • Very strong analytical skills; able to design scalable reporting and provide actionable insights
  • Demonstrated ability to simplify complexity, automate processes, and deliver cross-functional projects, including project management of end-to-end tool implementations
  • Experience working with a highly complex and/or customisable pricing model and structure

Whilst not required, we think the below qualities and experience will contribute to success in this role:

  • Experience in global SaaS/tech-enabled service businesses
  • Evidence of being the “first RevOps hire” or working autonomously and owning decisions in a scaling business
  • Familiarity with BI / analytics tools
  • Experience delivering training & change management across internal and external stakeholders
