Operations Assistant - Prestigious Law Firm (Central London)
Salary: Competitive + Excellent BenefitsHours: Monday - Friday (full-time)Contract Type: PermanentA leading international law firm is seeking a proactive and highly organised Operations Assistant to join their London office. Representing a firm known for its excellence, innovation, and collaborative culture, this is a fantastic opportunity to support the Facilities & Office Services Manager and the Head of Facilities in delivering first-class operational support across the business. The Role: As Operations Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the London office, supporting day-to-day operations. You'll be involved in a wide range of responsibilities across facilities, office services, health & safety, and vendor management. Key Responsibilities: Support day-to-day office operations, including facilities upkeep, supply ordering, and vendor coordination.Assist with onboarding/offboarding of service providers, ensuring all documentation and requirements are met.Help plan and coordinate office relocations, working with IT and other internal teams.Monitor and manage office assets (e. furniture, appliances, plants), including service and maintenance scheduling.Conduct regular checks for Health & Safety and Fire compliance; maintain updated records.Coordinate staff training for Health & Safety, Fire Safety, and First Aid; manage related documentation.Assist with budget tracking and cost control; monitor departmental purchasing activity.Maintain and update internal resources, including the team's intranet page.Manage team calendars and schedules; organise meetings and follow up on action items.Support access control processes across multiple office locations.Help implement and maintain departmental policies and procedures. About You: Previous experience in a law firm environmentStrong operational awareness and a hands-on, solutions-focused approach.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.Calm under pressure, with strong multitasking and prioritisation skills.A collaborative team player with a high level of discretion and professionalism.
