Quality Manager

MMP Consultancy are seeking a permanent Quality Manager for a social housing organisation in North London. Paying circa. £55,000 - £57,750 per annum including Bonus.

We are looking for a Quality Manager to oversee quality control for major building design and construction projects. The role involves reviewing design information, conducting site inspections at key project stages, and ensuring compliance with relevant building regulations and contractual obligations. The Quality Manager will collaborate with project teams to identify non-compliance issues and recommend improvements, supporting the delivery of safe, compliant, and high-quality buildings.

Salary: £55,000 - £57,750 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Required Skills:

Knowledge of building regulations, including Part B (Fire Safety), CDM 2015, and other statutory requirements
Experience in quality control within construction or architectural projects
Ability to interpret design and technical documentation
Strong inspection skills and attention to detail
Effective communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement
Capable of producing detailed quality reports and updates
Nice to Have Skills:

Familiarity with third-party obligations such as Rights of Light, Party Wall Awards, and wayleaves
Knowledge of Building Safety Regulator requirements
Understanding of quality assurance standards and best practices in construction
Preferred Education and Experience:

Relevant qualification in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field
At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance or control roles within the construction sector
Other Requirements:

Willingness to conduct site inspections across multiple locations
Familiarity with contractual obligations related to construction projects
